Human trafficking is the 2nd leading crime in the U.S. and there are 1.3 million missing youth in our country. Help us fight human trafficking and rescue missing youth from Kentucky. Hundreds of thousands of people will be visiting Louisville for the Derby and large events like this create increased demand and opportunity for trafficking at motels & hotels in the surrounding area. 
 
YOU CAN HELP!

Volunteers will get training on the signs of trafficking and what is going on locally. They will label soap and make up remover wipes with the national human trafficking hotline number for hotels and motels. Then they will go to hotels and motels all around Louisville to deliver them.

There are 3 volunteer roles that you can choose to participate in at the SOAP event on April 30th. All volunteers will attend training at the event (training is appropriate for those in middle school or older).

1. Driver Volunteer- sign up to take a small team of volunteers in your car to drop off materials to local hotels.
2. Rider Volunteer- go with a small team of volunteers in someone's car to drop off the materials to local hotels.
3. Training Only Volunteer- help label soap, but this does not include going to hotels.
